Nikolas presented him with a "check" in the amount of $1,219, which reflects the amount of money that has been raised to date as a result of Nikolas's campaign, Running the World for Children. Included is $125 of Nikolas's own money—his first place prize from a running series he completed this year! Happy Thanksgiving!

Siobain Perkins was the 100th like on NIkolas's Facebook page! Nikolas was so happy to reach this milestone that he wanted to give the 100th person a special gift—his sister's first published book, The Thirst Inside. Pictured here is Nikolas with his sister, Thea (the author, left), and Mrs. Perkins, who was both Thea's and Nikolas's awesome third grade teacher. As the marathon approaches, Nikolas has been asked more questions about his running.  One of our favorite quotes to date came from the question, "Nikolas, when you start to get tired, what motivates you to keep going?" Nikolas's answer was: "I don’t seem to get tired—except there was that one time, and a donut saved me."
