Nikolas Skyped with his mom late this morning while he bounced on the bed in his hotel room. Clearly still full of energy only a few hours after he finished the Punta Arenas Half Marathon, placing FIRST overall and setting his new half-marathon personal record! An unplanned, exciting, and fun experience to add to his long list of extraordinary adventures! A happy boy indeed! Congratulations, Nikolas!
Here's Nikolas enjoying a well deserved jaunt to the beautiful Torres del Paine, a national park that is part of the South Patagonian Ice Cap. Breathtaking! Thanks for the great photo, Sharon!

Here's Nikolas with Kristen De Sousa, a 15-year-old marathoner also running the continents for charity. They are both running on Antarctica tomorrow! Good luck, Nikolas and Kristen! You are both changing the world for good! Here's a link to Kristen's charity:http://www.justgiving.com/kristen-De-Sousa
