It's official: Nikolas's next marathon will be on the continent of ... Well, how about some guesses? We'll give you some clues: it is summer here when it is winter there, the names of two of their most famous animals both begin with the letter K, and this little guy above is also a native of the continent. Any guesses?
We received a very generous donation for Operation Warm supporting Nikolas's campaign! Nikolas couldn't believe it—he was so excited! When he found out, Nikolas asked, "Who is it from?" and mom said, "Well, we don't know, it's anonymous." Nikolas continued, "I know it's anonymous but who is it from anyway?!"
200 more warm children with their very own new winter coat!! Thank you so much!
Our friend, Paul, recently started a marketing consultant business with Ambit Energy. Ambit provides electricity and natural gas at great prices. Paul will donate $5 to Running the World for Children for each customer who signs up with Ambit Energy through this link ($25 for anyone who becomes a consultant). Just click on the link below before May 22nd, indicate you want the contribution to go to "Running the World for Children," and then you will be taken to a page where you can learn more about Ambit, compare energy prices, and sign up. Thanks so much for your support, Paul and good luck too! www.energythatgivesback.com

On Saturday, Nikolas had the pleasure of meeting Larry Macon, the world record holder for most marathons completed in one year (at 67, he completed 153 marathons and actually broke his own record for the 3rd time!). Nikolas was able to run with him for a little while during the Triple Crown Trail Half Marathon. This was a really fun run for Nikolas, complete with creek crossings and muddiness!
On Friday evening, Nikolas participated in the Healthy Kids Running Series, and CNN came to interview Nikolas!
