We'll be talking a lot about Running the World for Children and Operation Warm this weekend at the Runner's World Festival, which over 6,500 people are attending! We can't wait!

Tomorrow (10/20), Nikolas will be attending the first ever Runner's World Festival.  A festival all about running is like a dream for Nikolas!  It is a weekend full of  running, of course (Nikolas will be running the 10k), inspiration, and fun.  They even have have a seminar about pancakes for runners - complete with tastings - Nikolas loves pancakes! Anyone want to venture a guess as to how many pancakes he will eat?

Last night was the final of five races in the Healthy Kids Running Series.  Nikolas placed 1st in his age group and received a trophy! He was so proud to achieve this goal because he competed in last year's series, where he received his very first trophy, and he is proud to have this honor two years 'running'! Another fun adventure!

Eco Boutique of Kennett Square is so excited about helping us to promote the "Running the World for Children" campaign.  They are going to host multiple events to spread the word!  They are full of enthusiasm and encouragement, and we couldn't be happier to have their support!

Once again, Nikolas ran two races in one day. This morning, he ran the Delaware Distance Classic, a 15k, where he placed second in twenty and under and received a nice trophy! It was raining hard, and he was very pleased. This evening, he ran the fourth Healthy Kids one mile run. And once again, after another long morning "warm up" run, he achieved a personal record for his mile at night! He's so happy!

On Sunday, Nikolas is running in the Delaware Distance Classic 15k and he couldn't be more thrilled with the weather forecast:  cold & rainy.
